| Conroe Art League hosts the virtual CAL Fall 2026 Judged Show, from which qualified winners are eligible to compete in LSAG's 2027 Annual Show. Open to artists in Texas. Artists do not have to be a member to enter this show. However, to enter eligible artwork in the LSAG 2026 Annual Show, artists must be a member of Conroe Art League or another LSAG league. | Join nationally acclaimed artist Vickie McMillan-Hayes as she shares her inspiring journey from copying Snoopy as a child to building a successful full-time career as a nationally recognized Western and wildlife artist. Through stories, practical advice, and a live demonstration, Vickie explores how creativity, innovation, and perseverance have opened doors to museum exhibitions, gallery representation, corporate commissions, public art projects, and unique opportunities beyond the traditional canvas. Her demonstration will showcase techniques for creating depth and dimension through the use of paint while encouraging artists to think beyond traditional approaches. September 5th at 4:30pm. |
