As a part of the 2021 CAL National we have partnered with nationally recognized wildlife artist, Vickie McMillan Hayes, to create a collaborative mural that speaks to the history of the City of Conroe.  The public was invited to join in this collaboration by registering for one of four sessions on March 8, 2021.   It was a great day of collaboration and those that worked on the piece included the Conroe's Mayor, City Administrator, and Downtown Manager.  We hope to find a home for this piece in one of the City's buildings where it can be viewed by the public for years to come.  Thanks to all who participated!  The mural will be on display in the CAL Gallery through the end of March 2021.  Click here to see a video of this collaboration between CAL and the community.
