CONROE LONE STAR COLLEGE ART  STUDENT TOUR

This was one of the largest group of students to tour the gallery. Kerry Conkling gave the group a 20 minute talk on the history of the City of Conroe and CAL.  Juan Cantavella spoke to the students about his journey as an artist which was very interesting and very encouraging to the group.  The students were provided refreshments and then spent time viewing the artwork and voting on the “Juan Cantavella Award”. Several students commented that this was their first time to visit an art gallery.  They were encouraged to join CAL and participate in classes and other activities.
