SCHOOL US WITH YOUR ART (Students) |

Conroe Art League will award almost $11,000 at the Student Awards Show scheduled for Saturday, May 7, from 6 to 8 PM. As many as ten monetary awards may be awarded in the show category. For a chance to win one of these awards, fill out this registration form and turn it in with the artwork on Friday May 5th. For quicker registration, feel free to do so online.
In addition to the open show, there will be a $500 award for the Adrianne Gerlach Memorial Art Scholarship for best western/wildlife art. CAL is introducing this year a new award in the amount of $300 for the Sherry Wagner Memorial Award for the theme Forever Cats. A student does not have to be present to win. (But it would be nice!) |

Join us for the CAL Public Art Bike Ride on April 17th. We will visit more than 20 works of public art along the beautiful Woodlands Waterway and Lake Woodlands. MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Conroe Symphony Orchestra presents The Earth has Music for Those Who Listen on April 23rd at 7:30pm at the West Conroe Baptist Church. Get tickets at ConroeSymphony.org. Conroe Symphony Spring Fling at Amore on Lake Conroe, May 1st from 3:00-5:00pm. $75 per person. More information at ConroeSymphony.org. Kidz Fest is being held on April 30th from 10:00am to 5:00pm in downtown Conroe. This event is sponsored by the City of Conroe and the children’s Art Village is in need of volunteers.
